First, Nikki will meet with you to understand your goals and set a schedule that works for you.

Over the course of six weeks, you will have:

  • developed characters, setting, scenes, and a story arc to bring your idea to life.

  • learned how the elements of storytelling work together to keep readers engaged.

  • created a strong sense of direction for your story project.

  • written tons of new material both in and out of class.

  • discovered what works and doesn't work for you as a writer.

  • developed a practice you can take with you to keep writing, even after the class is over.

If you're working on a book, you'll leave with a clear plan on what you need to do to finish and submit your manuscript to agents and publishers. And if you're not working on a book? Even better. Then you can just have a real good time.
